Unit Description This unit, taught by Australian Museum, Botanic Gardens Trust Sydney and UNE staff, develops practical skills relevant to current issues in biological systematics. Topics include analysis of species limits and phylogenetic relationships, character phylogeny, and applications and benefits to science and society of phylogeny reconstruction including conservation prioritisation.
