Unit Description

Students will acquire skills that will enable them to use ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) effectively in other units within the Bachelor of Education (Primary) program and meet many of the competencies required of beginning teachers. This unit will develop an appreciation of ICT tools, the terminology used and the effect on education of changes in technology. Students will develop the key concepts, attitudes and skills underlying ICT education and will explore how these can be integrated into the primary curriculum.
