Cross-Institutional

Why study the Cross-Institutional at UNE?

Most units offered at UNE are available to eligible students on a Cross Institutional basis. Units undertaken on a Cross Institutional basis must count towards the course you are enrolled in at your home university. To find suitable units you may wish to refer to the Program of Study (which lists relevant units) listed in a comparable course to the one you are studying at your home university in the Courses section of the Course and Unit Catalogue or search for individual units in the Units section of the Course and Unit Catalogue. The unit information in the Course and Unit Catalogue includes: unit description, where and when the unit is offered (Cross Institutional students may only choose units offered through the Armidale campus), pre-requisites and co-requisites (required background knowledge to study the unit), intensive school information (whether the unit has a mandatory or non-mandatory intensive school which requires attendance), textbook information and unit coordinator details. Most units are offered at 6 credit points [this is equivalent to 125 eftsl (equivalent full-time student load) and equivalent to 150 hours of total student workload]. Eligible students will be required to provide written documentation from their home university verifying the course to which the units will count and whether you are eligible for HECS or Full Fees
