| Overview | This degree commences with studies in psychology and sociology. You then specialise in one or both of these subjects. The degree involves the study of human behaviour and uses an interdisciplinary approach to social science. A Social Science degree completed at honours level in Psychology is an accredited degree recognised by the NSW Psychologists Registration Board. |

| Honours | Candidates who have successfully completed the Bachelor of Social Science may, on the recommendation of the head of school concerned, continue to an honours year. The honours program shall include advanced coursework and a dissertation. |

Credit Point Requirements
To qualify for the award a candidate shall complete a total of 144 credit points with no more than 60 credit points at 100-level.
