| Overview |
The degree develops knowledge of communication technologies in various cultural, social and historical contexts. Graduates will understand and apply a range of disciplinary methods for studying specific communications media (print, audio and audiovisial, electronic), the changing relations between them and their role in modern society. Students can study related disciplines such as history, literature, theatre, sociology, political science, or psychology.

Credit Point RequirementsTo qualify for the award a candidate shall complete a total of 144 credit points with no more than 60 credit points at 100-level. Program of StudyCandidates shall complete an approved program of study as outlined in the Course Schedule comprising:
Approved MajorsMedia and Culture Exit PathwaysCandidates who discontinue their studies in the course may be eligible to exit with the Advanced Diploma in Arts on completion of 72 credit points of which 36 credit points must be in units at 200/300-level.
