This course will provide complementary and allied health practitioners who have a vocational qualification and professional experience, the opportunity to undertake advanced studies at the Bachelor level. Specifically, it will provide an advanced level of knowledge, understanding and skills in aspects of human biology and applied aspects of health.

| Entry Requirements | A candidate shall: (a) have at least one year's relevant work experience; and (b) hold a professional health qualification awarded by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) acceptable to the School; and (c) have full current practitioner membership of an appropriate professional association approved by the School. |

| Additional Requirements | This is a three year Bachelor degree but there are two study programs with different durations depending on the advanced standing received. a. 96 credit point Study Program of eight semesters duration. b. 48 credit point Study Program of four semesters duration. |

| Advanced Standing | Candidates will be granted advanced standing of either 48 or 96 credit points depending on whether they hold a one or two year professional health qualification offered by a Registered Training Organisation. |

Articulation Program
Candidates who have completed a one year accredited health qualification offered by a Registered Training Organisation shall be granted block advanced standing for 48 credit points and are required to complete 96 credit points as outlined in the Course Schedule.
Candidates who have completed a two year accredited professional health qualification offered by a Registered Training Organisation shall be granted block advanced standing for 96 credit points and are required to complete 48 credit points as outlined in the Course Schedule.

Period of Candidature
For candidates admitted with a one year accredited health qualification the maximum period of candidature shall be:
three years as a full-time candidate;
five years as a part-time candidate.
For candidates admitted with a two year accredited health qualification the maximum period of candidature shall be:
two years as a full-time candidate;
three years as a part-time candidate.
This course is only offered on a part-time basis to accommodate the professional commitments of the candidates who are admitted to the course. Candidates who wish to study on a full-time basis will need to negotiate a program of study with the Course Coordinator
