Unit Description

This unit brings together aspects of soil fertility and plant nutrition, particularly those related to fertiliser management. Case studies and management decision making will be used to illustrate principles. The object of the unit is to understand the soil/crop/climatic factors determining nutrient use efficiency and ways of managing fertiliser use efficiency. SOIL 511 will be augmented by a series of extra seminars, lectures and tasks for assessment.
