| Unit Description |
In this unit students are exposed to the many dimensions of the human resource management role including: strategic HRM, human resource planning, regulatory frameworks such as equal opportunity and occupational health and safety, and international HRM. In particular, this unit is concerned with understanding and improving the employment relationships and quality of working life within the context of existing political, legal and economic structures of organisation. Important aspects of the employment relationship explored include: recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, renumeration, job analysis and design and career development. |
