Unit Description

LS 320 examines the ethics of modern legal professional practice and also the principles relating to management of trust accounts. Topics include trust accounting, professionalism and legal ethics, the history, structure and regulation of the legal profession, admission, discipline, duties of representation, communication and control, conflicts of interest, costs and liens, liability, immunity and indemnity.
