Unit Description

This is an advanced unit. The aim of this unit is twofold. First, it aims to develop fluency and to raise the level of sophistication of language skills through a study of a variety of complex texts from the Japanese media, journal articles and literary works. Second, it allows students an insight into some aspects of Japanese society and culture through a study of current issues.
