Unit Description

In this unit students continue their study of the human body, begun in HHSC 146, by examining the structures and functions of the integumentary and urinary systems, and the composition and functions of blood. They also further develop their knowledge and understanding of microorganisms and their control, study the basic principles of genetics, nutrition, pharmacology and immunology and continue to develop their practical and problem-solving skills.
