Unit Description

This unit is designed to consolidate and extend the student's command of French and German languages, and for the student to engage in intensive study of a select range of French and German literary texts from three/four centuries of French and German literature. This course work is intended to build on the language and literature studied in previous years, and to prepare the student for the writing of an Honours thesis in FRGR 402H, done concurrently in the case of full-time on-campus students, and in the following year in the case of part-time on-/off-campus students.
