| Unit Description |
This first semester core language unit is the sequel to FREN 102. It is also offered as the entry point to the French language sequence for HSC Continuers (70+%) or those with equivalent prior knowledge. FREN 201, normally followed by FREN 202, aims progressively to bring students to a point where they may competently read, understand, write and speak an intermediate level of French. Students must own or have access to a CD player. Students must also have regular access to the Internet with an up-to-date browser, capable of supporting WebCT version 4.1. External students must have regular access to a cassette recorder (standard sized cassettes). |
