| Unit Description |
Across diverse community settings, effective early childhood education requires supportive partnerships between children, parents, teachers and the broader community. To contribute to such partnerships, teachers must articulate and implement their teaching approaches, be knowledgeable about children and work side-by-side with other staff and families. Curriculum planning cycles are explored, utilised and reflected upon during a 15 day guided professional experience. Students seeking employment in the early years of school should negotiate their professional experience in a primary school. |
