Unit Description

Students will examine their beliefs and attitudes about social justice and recognise how these influence their decision making when programming and planning for young children with reference to relevant State authorities' policy and curriculum documents. The needs of children and families from a variety of equity groups will be explored. Current debates and practices will be analysed. An aspect of an early childhood setting will be evaluated and a change plan will be formulated.
