Unit Description

This unit examines issues confronting families and early childhood professionals in the current context of rapid social change. Students will research theoretical approaches for studying Australian families who are both diverse and dynamic. Such study is essential for early childhood professionals who require informed perspectives that acknowledge the current diversity of Australian families. A report be prepared that documents communication and relationship strategies and to study the social context of families.
