Unit Description

This unit comprises up to 26 lecture hours and 12 tutorial hours. It highlights the principal contributors to the development of economics. It also looks at some unorthodox and radical contributors, including those who argue that modern economics is unrealistic and irrelevant, and is in a state of terminal crisis. The emphasis throughout is on the original writings.
