| Unit Description |
This unit comprises up to 26 lecture hours and 12 workshop hours. A study of the operation of labour markets and the issues which arise therefrom - supply and demand for labour, education and training, job search and so on. Also a study of attempts by workers and employers (unions and employers' associations) to influence labour market outcomes in their own interests, and problems which arise in labour market regulation. |
