Unit Description

The unit will introduce students to a range of European and Asian literary genres including erotic, detective and autobiographical fictions, these being available in alternate offerings. The unit will broaden students' knowledge of the cultural, socio-historical and political context of the language they are studying and introduce them to different cultural perspectives on the genres. All texts will be studied in English.
