Unit Description

This unit provides a detailed coverage of knowledge management concepts and methodologies which include knowledge creation, knowledge architecture, and knowledge codification. The knowledge management tools and knowledge portals as well as the notions of knowledge transfer in the E-world are discussed. COMP592 is based on the undergraduate unit COMP292 with additional load consisting of extra questions on assignments and examinations and candidates for COMP592 will be expected to show a greater level of understanding of the unit material than that required for COMP292.
