| Unit Description |
This unit is designed for students who have completed at least three years study of Mandarin Chinese, or the equivalent, and who also have advanced competence in written English. Through translating authentic texts in a variety of genres between Chinese and English, students develop advanced language proficiency and translation skills. At 420 level, in addition, theoretical and ethical issues are introduced, and professional translation resources are investigated. |
