Unit Description

A unit comprised of lectures, tutorials and microcomputer activities. The unit is divided into three sections: (1) an introduction to the structure and functioning of a generic accounting information system; (2) an overview of information systems design and development; and (3) an introduction to contemporary accounting practices and procedures using microcomputers.
