| Overview | This course provides the opportunity for existing health care professionals to conduct research into a wide range of health science areas. The course comprises four units of coursework followed by a major thesis worth two-thirds of the requirements. Within the four coursework units Epidemiology and Biostatistics are covered. |
| Entry Requirements | A candidate shall either: (a) hold a bachelor's degree in health studies or a closely related field approved by the Higher Degrees Research Committee, upon the recommendation of the faculty with a grade point average of Credit or above; or (b) hold a bachelor with honours degree in health or a related field approved by the Higher Degrees Research Committee, upon the recommendation of the faculty; or (c) have adequate academic preparation at the tertiary level to undertake a research thesis in the health area. |
