The Graduate Certificate in Marine Science and Managment is the first award level of a fully articulated program which gives qualified applicants the opportunity for study at three progressive levels: Graduate Certificate in Marine Science and Management, Graduate Diploma in Marine Science and Management; Master of Marine Science and Management. On campus study is completed at the National Marine Science Centre in Coffs Harbour NSW (http://www.nmsc.edu.au/). The award provides academic and professional training in some of the key topics in marine science and management. This includes updating the knowledge and skills of candidates who have previous training in this field. The Graduate Certificate will be awarded at the level of Pass, Pass with Credit, Pass with Distinction or Pass with High Distinction depending on the level of academic achievement. |

Admission to candidature is a three year Bachelor degree, preferably in a science-related area. Applicants with other qualifications and professional experience will also be considered. |
