Unit EDEC310 is the prerequisite unit. This unit must be repeated in Semester 2 if failed in Semester 1. A candidate’s choice of elective units may affect future career options. If a candidate plans to teach in the early years of school in NSW and is following the Primary Pathway into the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) it is recommended that they elect to enrol in one of the following electives: EDEC416; 421 or 488. Units EDEC324 and EDEC391 include 5 days professional experience.
