Unit Description

This unit examines aspects of environmental management as affected by the cotton industry. Areas covered include: ecology; soil degradation; pesticide breakdown; water quality; salinity; vegetation; legal obligations; and pesticide application techniques. There is a compulsory 3.5-day practical in June.
