The breakdown is as follows: (1) module on research methods and procedures, and a dissertation workshop; (2) a module on theories of theatre from Aristotle onward, including recent critical theory and practice; (3) a production (on-campus) or detailed study of a play script as if in preparation for a production (off-campus); (4) a dissertation of 15 000 words (excluding the bibliography); (5) for off-campus students there is a requirement of face-to-face consultation by arrangement. |
