| Unit Description |
Two lectures and a one-hour laboratory session per week. The aim of the unit is to introduce students to more advanced techniques in statistics that will be useful in their project work and/or in reading written reports. Topics include stepwise regression, mixed models, generalized linear models, semi-parametric regression and longitudinal data analysis. External students must have access to a computer. The R software is supplied. |
