| Unit Description |
This unit examines some of the central topics and debates in sociological literature on the family. Theoretical approaches in feminism, masculinity theory and Marxism will underpin some of the weekly topics on domestic violence, public-private divisions, motherhood, fatherhood, childhood, and families in popular culture. |
