| Unit Description |
This unit presents a sociological analysis of theories of deviance and crime. These concepts are examined from the social structural, organisational, and micro-interactional levels. Sociological theories of deviance and crime are outlined and applied to a variety of substantive arenas. In all instances the definition of and reaction(s) to deviant and criminal behaviour will be examined. |
