Unit Description

This unit surveys the principal diagnostic categories of dysfunctional behaviour, including, stress and adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, somatoform and dissociative disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, addictive disorders, sexual dysfunctions, schizophrenia, and conduct disorder. Additionally, this unit examines the etiology and the treatment of these dysfunctions. Assessment is by one written assignment and an examination.
