|||||||||
| Coordinator(s) | NICK HOLMES | |||||||||
| Unit Description |
The composition of the atmosphere has changed, global patterns of weather and ocean dynamics are likely to change; can we predict the changes? Can we influence them? How can we respond? These questions, as well as models of ocean and current systems will be explored during this unit. Assessment will include assignments, seminar, and quizzes during the residential school. MSM 505 is based on the senior undergraduate unit MSM 305 with additional load consisting of extensions to two of the assignments. Candidates will be required to show a greater level of understanding of the unit material than that required at 300 level. Students who complete MSM 305 are not permitted to enrol for MSM 505. |
