| Unit Description |
This unit is aimed at providing professional competence in the process of sound scientific investigation and its application to solving problems in marine biological science to ensure that appropriate data are available for management of marine ecosystems. Assessment will include assignments, a seminar, and quizzes during the residential school. MSM 502 is based on the senior undergraduate unit MSM 302 with extra load consisting of an additional assignment. Candidates will be required to show a greater depth and breadth of knowledge and understanding of the unit material than that required of an undergraduate student. Students who have completed MSM 302 are not permitted to enrol for MSM 502. |
