Unit Description

This unit is designed for business students who intend to develop an understanding of the international marketing principles. The unit will expose students to the major dimensions of the international marketing environment: economics; social and cultural; and political, legal and regulatory. A key aspect of the unit is that students learn how to analyse and target global marketing opportunities. On completion of the unit, students will be able to suggest global marketing strategies for any product or service. The unit also covers the creation of global marketing programs and global marketing mix of product, pricing, place and promotion decisions. This unit is offered at two levels. The content of the unit will be the same for MM 318 and MM 418 Students. MM 418 students will have to complete assessment tasks at a higher level.
