Unit Description

This unit studies a number of areas where traditional contract doctrine, particularly in the fields of formation of contract and remedies for breach of contract, appear to be inadequate. Particular attention is paid to the influence of equitable doctrine in this traditional common law area and the judicial development of the doctrines of estoppel and unconscionability.
