Unit Description

This unit examines civil litigation in courts in Australia. The initial part of the course will cover the issues of pleadings; default proceedings; discovery, interrogatories and inspection; and case management procedures. The bulk of the course will consider the rules of evidence which govern the conduct of both criminal and civil trials.
