Unit Description

This unit is about how people acquire that complex system of communication, human language, in both its spoken and written forms, and how various theories account for this amazing feat. The topic is viewed from the perspectives of linguistics, cognitive development and social interaction, merging practical and theoretical approaches. Web access is required.
