| Unit Description |
Course work (18 credit points): (a) History and Philosophy of Linguistics (six credit points); and (b) Linguistic Methodology (12 credit points), specialising in one of the following areas: (i) applied linguistics; (ii) phonetics and phonology; (iii) semantics; (iv) sociolinguistics; or (v) typology and grammatical description.
