| Unit Description |
The honours program for Japanese consists of a reading course requiring the submission of three essays (assessed 50%) and the writing of a thesis of 9000-12 000 Japanese characters, on a topic chosen in consultation with the candidate's supervisor. Intending external candidates should contact the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics in July or August of the year preceding intended enrolment. Internal applicants should discuss the matter with the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics before the end of the academic year preceding intended enrolment. |
