Unit Description

This reading unit explores selected issues in Church History affecting Australia and the United States. Topics to be covered include sectarianism, secularisation, the ecumenical movement, the impact of the women's movement, the challenge of the 1960s, revival, modernisation and fundamentalism. Assessment is by research project or two essays. This unit can be taken as part of the American Studies Program.
