This unit, the third and last in the Human Biology series, builds on the knowledge, understanding and skills gained by students in their previous Human Biology units, and continues to provide them with the foundation and background necessary for concurrent and subsequent nursing units. Throughout the semester, students will obtain knowledge and understanding of the structure and function of the cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary systems. Assessment includes assignments and an examination.
