| Unit Description |
This unit assumes a sound knowledge and understanding of topics covered in HHSC 136 and 137. Students study the structure and functions of the nervous system and associated special senses, aspects of the cardiovascular system, and the characteristics of electricity, light and sound, especially in relation to their interactions with the body. The unit is taught by lectures, and practical activities, for an average of six hours per week. |
