| Unit Description |
In this unit students continue to apply the knowledge and understanding developed in HHSC 101 and 102 to the study of the nervous system, the special senses, and circulatory aspects of the cardiovascular system. The relationships between structure and function, and importance of homeostatic mechanisms, continue to be emphasised. Practical and problem-solving skills are further developed. This external unit includes a compulsory four-day residential school and is assessed by assignments and examination. |
