| Unit Description |
This unit provides the foundation for the Human Biology Sequence in the Bachelor of Nursing Studies. This sequence, in turn, provides support for other units in this degree program. Students who successfully complete this unit will have developed a basic knowledge and understanding of chemical and physical principles underlying genetics, body fluids and pharmacology and will have applied this knowledge to the endocrine and reproductive systems. The two-day compulsory residential school will assist students to develop their knowledge and understanding of these topics. |
