| Unit Description |
In this unit students establish a foundation for subsequent units in Human Health Science by developing basic knowledge and understanding of cells, tissues, body fluids and organ systems, and underlying chemical and physical principles; applying this knowledge and understanding to the structures and functions of the integumentary and musculoskeletal systems; and beginning to develop practical and problem-solving skills. This external unit includes a compulsory four-day residential school and is assessed by assignments and examination. |
