| Unit Description |
This unit concentrates on those aspects of theoretical and applied microeconomics of most relevance to managers. Main themes include: the market system and what it can accomplish; market limitations; imperfectly competitive firms and industries; factors in the macroeconomic environment which impinge on management; and government involvement in the economy. |
