| Unit Description |
This unit covers a broad range of topics in modern mammalian genetics including genomics, immunogenetics and prepares students for their possible future involvement in relevant research and applied projects. It shows similarity and differences in determination of essential traits across mainly domestic species as well as the ways of utilisation of this knowledge for selection purposes. This unit provides basic theoretical knowledge in the field and also experimental and computational skills. |
