Unit Description

This unit offers an introduction to the rich diversity of early modern English poetry, prose and drama. Students have the opportunity to: (1) develop their close reading skills and research and writing skills; (2) acquire expertise in using context as an analytical device; (3) gain an understanding of the unique literary characteristics and cultural significance of these works.
