| Unit Description |
This unit explores non-fictional works of literature, film and television. An introductory module of several weeks precedes three genre-specific modules. Students consider the use and interrogation of categories such as truth, fact and genre by a spectrum of non-fictional texts, and ethical issues involved in their production and reception. The modules that focus on particular genres of non-fiction are life writing, documentary film and television, and environmental writing. |
