| Unit Description |
This unit comprises up to 26 lecture hours and 13 tutorial hours. In this unit a comprehensive overview is provided of the role agricultural and resource industries play in the economy. Emphasis is given to the role these industries play in economic growth. The economic significance of the farm and resource sectors is highlighted along with their links to both national and international economies. While constant reference is made to the Australian economy, the lessons taught are applicable to many other countries. |
